Track Name: Wherever Does The Time Go...
Wherever Does the Time Go? © Gillian Slinn 2015

Sitting on a park bench wondering where my life went
Thinking about the things I doubt I’ll ever get done.
Wherever does the time go?
Does it get sucked inside a black hole?
Wherever does the time go when you’re too busy staring at the wall.

Some gentlemen of a certain age - they climbed upon a pub stage
Their bones may be shot but their spirit in not to women in their dotage
Wherever does the time go?
Does it get sucked inside a black hole.?
Wherever does the time go when you’re too busy staring at the wall?

Inst. Break.

I’m counting on my fingers to keep me on my toes.
Waiting for the hammer to fall.
Got one eye on the passers-by I pretend not to know
And the other on the clock upon the wall.

Wherever does the time go?
Does it get sucked inside a black hole
Wherever does the time go when you’re too busy staring at the wall.

Life-span - Log-jam - forgot to make a pension plan
No joke - stoney-broke before everyone goes up in smoke

Whever does the time go etc. etc.
Track Name: Made For Each Other
Made for Each Other
Words and music © Tony Charnock, 2016

She had Harvey Nicholl’s taste in a Poundstretcher Town
Married to a corporate thief
He spent his life with his hand in the till
She spent hers giving people grief
They’d put a pound in the church collection
Take five out in change
Every day was spent plottin’ and plannin’
Their dirty tricks campaign

They were made for each other, made for each other
Cast from the very same mould
Made for each other, made for each other
No heart, no soul.

One day he pushed his luck too far
Gave the wrong people a grudge
Police called round when the deal went sour
Ended up in front of the judge
She spun some lies when the case came up
Trying to get him off the hook
Bad news for her when it all backfired
That’s when she came unstuck

They were made for each other, made for each other
Both put away for a spell
Made for each other, made for each other
Cooking up deals in their cells

They were made for each other, made for each other
Cast from the very same mould
Made for each other, made for each other
No heart, no soul.

They were made for each other, made for each other
Cast from the very same mould
Made for each other, made for each other
No heart, no soul.
Track Name: Next Train
Next Train:
Words and music © John Riches, 2016.

I’m on a train going nowhere with you
It would be better to have a new view
Trains rumbling on I’m going nowhere
I really think it’s the end of our affair
Had enough-a- flak, I’m a-going back
Jacq Black

Stop this train going nowhere so fast
Always new that it couldn’t last
Stuck in a rut with this nut
Seat’s very roomy but I’m a feeling gloomy
Spoke to your father, spoke to your brother
Yeah – Matt Black

I’m on the train its taking the strain
Movin’ out the picture in to a new frame
Trains rumbling on, not going too fast
It’s been enough, feels very tough
Shuffle me along to where I belong
Apply stickin’ plaster – my hearts beatin’ faster

Here is the station, couldn’ come too soon
Was almost blind now I’m getting aligned
Feeling my feet now I’m free of your hex
Can’t wait ‘till I get to where I’m going next
Not perplexed Nor vexed
